Pakistan is not wearing bangles, it also possesses nuclear weapons : Farooq Abdullah

Farooq Abdullah’s  anti-National statement in response to Defence Minister’s statement about merge of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir with India

Srinagar (Jammu-Kashmir) – Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah has  issued  an “anti-national” remarks on Defence Minister’s statement about merger of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir with India. He suggested that Pakistan is not wearing bangles, as they possess nuclear weapons and are will not hesitate to use them.

1. Abdullah expressed his disappointment over the terrorist attack on Poonch and the loss of soldier’s life. He also pointed out that earlier Article 370 was being used to hold people responsible for terrorist attacks, but now attacks are still happening. (Article 370 was anti-national Act, Abdullah who makes such separatist statements should be sent to jail now.- Editor)

2. He further added India and Pakistan should engage in talks. If India held 19 rounds of talks with China, why can’t it hold talks with Pakistan ?

3. When asked about Chinese construction activities in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, Abdullah did not comment.

4. Abdullah  criticised BJP for politicizing the issue of Ram Mandir. He emphasized that Shriram is not just the BJP’s Deity but belongs to the entire universe. He also accused the BJP of spreading fear among Hindus during election campaigns.

Editorial perspective

The government has done the right thing by abrogating Article 370. Now arresting and jailing Pak-inclined leaders like Farooq Abdullah only can bring peace in Kashmir.
