Rainfall broke 100-year record
Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – Flooding has wreaked havoc across Saudi Arabia, a desert country, due to climate change. As it has been raining continuously for the past 7 days in Saudi Arabia, it is said that the rivers here have flooded. The rainfall has broken the record of the last 100 years. The Muslim Holy cities of Mecca and Medina have also been flooded. Roads in various cities took the form of rivers. Reportedly, stormy rains may occur in the United Arab Emirates as well.
Flooding in cities of Saudi Arabia, have left people unable to leave their homes. The people told that sheep also swept away in the flood.
