Australia expelled 2 Indian spies from the country in 2020 : Claims ABC News
Canberra (Australia) – Australia expelled 2 Indian spies from the country in 2020 according to the claims of an Australian news channel ‘ABC News’. The report was also published by ‘The Australian’ and ‘The Sydney Morning Herald’. The report claims that Indian spies tried to steal classified information related to defence projects and airport security systems in Australia. Officials of India’s intelligence agency ‘RAW’ were behind this conspiracy. It is claimed in this report that the Indian spies were arrested and expelled from the country after this case was revealed.
Australia’s Director-General of Security Mike Burgess also indicated this in the 2021 annual threat report, but he did not mention the country these spies belonged to.
